Cassandra

This is the culmination of hundreds of hours of work spanning over three years.  It started as a commission and turned into a personal challenge as it went through several revisions to reflect my developing skill and new ideas.  The two most difficult aspects of this project were consistency (ensuring that every shot of the character looks like it's of the same person) and the layout. Also, anatomy mistakes are hard to hide when the character is wearing a skin suit! The basic character design is Annie Erlaine's, known to me as AC, but Cookie's design and the gun are my contributions. I actually included the gun because I desperately wanted more color to add visual interest, and a green glow felt like just the right thing.  I ended up running with that green glow to pull the character sheet together. My name for the gun was the Wyvern 814, but AC insisted on calling it the Cally and attributing the design to Annha Milton.  *facepalm* What is this, I don't even--AC YOU ARE SO GOOFY LIKE SERIOUSLY.

All of the text was contributed by AC.
The body font is Consolas and the quote font is Estrangelo Edessa.
The tech brushes I used to create the sci-fi background are the work of z-design, used with permission: Z-design Tech brushes set v2

Whoot! It's finally done!

Lol. And I notice you insist on the gun's class being in there anyway, all big and bold and more important than my lampshading. XD Alright, you win that battle, but not the war! MUAHAHAHAHA

Oooo, I just noticed how the bg circles draw focus to her head! And yet, closed circles for her in the skinsuit give a totally different feel from the open circle(s) by Cookie, as well as the offset... I don't know if you did that on purpose, but I really like the subtly and effect.

Back poseeeee~! And you even show the tread on her boots. XD I've actually had people think they weren't boots but booties, since they're seamless with the suit (ohhhh, the grief I get for my designs). Now they can't claim confusion! I didn't even think to ask for something like that. You are awesome. <3

*flails all around and does happy-dance moves in the corners of the blog*

AND YOU MADE IT ALL GREEN.
I would never have made it all green, and would have likely insisted on blue still if asked.
IT LOOKS SO MUCH MORE AWESOME WHEN IT'S ALL GREEN.

I would just like to add that I actually had no idea the layout was changing and was completely surprised in the email.
IT LOOKS SO GOOOOOOOOOD.

And
IT LOOKS SO GOOOOOOOOOD.

*bows to the master*

The circles were indeed deliberately placed! :D I just learned how to install custom brushes for Photoshop and I was so thrilled to find this set. It suited the sheet *perfectly.*

Actually, showing the tread on her boots was one of the details you asked for WAYYY back at the beginning, but it kind of fell by the wayside for some reason. I'd originally intended to include a back view before I even started on the sheet, but you decided to use the other full-body view to show Cookie. It was just last week that I decided I was hellbent on having a back view anyway (I can't even tell you why, I just REALLY wanted to) and realized as I posed her feet that it was the perfect opportunity to show the tread. Everybody wins! :D

I wasn't planning on green initially either! It was actually all gray but it needed contrast like nobody's business. I did try the blue, but then the tattoo and cyanstrea (that's a super cool name, btw) just got lost.

I decided to change the layout because scrolling down is better than scrolling sideways. n_n

! What timing. ^___^

I did? Eep. The things I forget. xD You've got more reason than I do to stare down the old convos, though, at least the ones about Cass, so I blame circumstance!!

The whole thing is just plain awesome.
