An expression/angle/design study for Took. I'm not sure where I'm going with his look yet but I think the middle is the closest to what I'm trying to achieve. For as easy as he is to write, Took is actually really annoying to draw...
ahbwahnuhhhhhhhhhbagwahhhhhhhhhhhhh whoa. @____@ Just, like wow. When. Did. He. Get. To. Be. So. Gosh. Darn. Attractive? Rockstar, indeed! He's so slick, so smooth, so... handsome. Without the baby face and with his tamed eyebrows and the new hair... the way his hair is now it makes it look like he's constantly in motion, swishing this way and that way... I... can't even say that he's cute anymore because that just doesn't do him justice.
I really like how you drew the pudges under his eyes. That adds a lot and I would never have thought to draw that. Wow. I feel like Took is so much more sophisticated now. There's a lot less to tease him about here. The new Took is legitimately impressive, and I don't have to be a fangirl to say that. And yet... from all the expressions you drew he's still a snarky nerd. XD haha, he's cranky nerdy like Bree and Twilight Sparkle! Only... I am sure he's several decibels higher on the cranky scale. I can't wait to see more pics of him like this! Between Lanthriel's new manly design and now Took's, your characters just increased in manliness exponentially. It's over 9000! XD
Um I dunno but I don't think that was the plan >.> *helpless shrug* I think I just started taking more notes from fan-art of Draco Malfoy: bonier face, fluffier/softer hair and a straight, long, sharply up-turned nose. He definitely looks more like a punk now XD I'm very glad you like n_n This shall certainly not be the last time I fuss over his face since I still don't feel that it's quite right, but we'll get there! AHAHAHA I like how crankiness is measured in decibels. The crankier he gets, the louder he gets! He's simultaneously like an old man and a little kid. "GET OFFA MY LAWN!!!" "GIMME BACK MY TOY!" whoot haha over 9000! Never thought Took would be the one to help my manliness levels.
